Description
The only other one of these we have seen (in 30+ years) was at the National Clock meet in Anaheim this July. This is a large and more precise version of the small novelty flicks that were made in the U.S. and Germany. In addition to hours [at top] and minutes [center], you get seconds flicking by just above the exposed balance wheel. The case itself is inlaid with multi color enamel, and retains virtually 100 percent of its original gilding. Also with lined and leather covered carry/display case. You wind the clock from the rear door, and the spring itself is encased in the base of the clock. A well made and truly unique item. Height of clock, 10Ó, Height of case 11Ó. $5,000-$6,000
