Description

This is a rather nice example of a rosewood veneered case with brass inlay. The original painted convex dial is in very nice condition with a just little fading of the numbers and the signature from age. This clock has been well taken care of, and the case is in exceptionally fine condition with no veneer chips, although typical of rosewood, there are some hairlines. All the access doors to the case are original. The cable drive movement appears to have been recently cleaned. This movement is attached to a false plate that is stamped "Finnemore". We found the sister to this clock in Miller's, Clocks and Barometers Buyer's Guide, page 221, suggested price range of $1200-$1800. (both 1997 and 2001 editions) Height 17Ó $600-$900
