Description
This firm was probably trying to capitalize on the popularity of the clocks made by Ansonia. The refinished walnut case is excellent. The movement is marked "Bridgeport Brass Co., Pat. Aug 8, 76". Left statue is new; rigHeight one original. The inside back of the case is lined with a new piece of velvet, as it would have been originally. The door glass, now clear, probably had a reverse painted pattern. This is a very interesting clock by a rather obscure maker. Height 20.5Ó $300-$400
