Description

This is a cute little clock that lost its pendulum rod at some time [but fortunately the brilliants are intact], and a workman [?] made a pend rod out of a German R/A grid pendulum, adding a front bar to hold the brilliants. Because he made the pend bob a bit large, he then moved the bell, which is now at rigHeight angles to where it should be. If you are very careful, you can get this to stay running, but it really needs a good man to fashion a proper pendulum. Otherwise, it is complete, sound and original, with good dial, orig hands and gilding and floral decorations intact on the case. Brilliants swing with pend. Height 14Ó $1,400-$1,800
