Description
The cast white metal case retains most of its gilt finish in good condition (usually these are quite worn). The beveled glass is perfect. The paper dial is a replacement, and the chapter ring a bit small for the hands. The rear wind nickel plated movement is in running condition; alarm is set and wound from the rear. This clock cost about $7 in 1903, a fraction of French items it was meant to compete with. Height 7.50Ó $125-$225
