Description

This walnut case has some problems; the top and bottom trim are home-made replacements. Actually the top is not too bad a job. The bottom was made by a different person as is it not as good, the carving quite irregular. Door glass replaced with a piece too thick and minute shaft is binding on the glass. The two dials are original but have stains from age. The hands are original. Does have a full inside label (quite dark). Running robustly, but calendar a bit sluggish. This is a hard to find clock and in original condition is worth $2500. Our estimate leaves plenty of room to afford proper restoration. Height 41Ó $750-$1,000
