Description
The brass dial is original, but some of the numerals have been overpainted and could be done better. The hands are old, but not correct. The mahogany veneer has few chips and repairs, but unfortunately is wholly missing on the curved part of the cornice (stained to match). The pressed brass escutcheon and door lock are intact. The reverse tablet masking the dial is original and in good condition. The lower tablet is old, but about 15 years newer than the clock (these usually had mirrors in the bottom). The interior of the case has its original blue dust paper and a very fine card label. The clock has its correct square weights. Height 22Ó $400-$500
