Description
This timepiece is a good looking example which has some shortcomings. The throat door is a replacement, cut out of a solid piece of wood rather than 4 sections joined together, and the throat glass is Waltham, but from a Mt. Vernon set (this is Perry's Victory). The bottom bracket has been broken at one time and reglued. The balance of the case retains original finish. This clock uses Waltham's reliable "car clock" stem wind movement, which needs cleaning. Height 21Ó $400-$500
