Description
Like several American clock companies, Waterbury imported an entire line of French marble cases that they presented at the Columbian Exposition [Chicago] in 1893. Interestingly, the list price for these marble models averaged $25 at the time, about twice the price of black enamel over wood models of similar design. This clock features Waterbury's premium rack striking movement with open escapement on the dial. Very minor edge abrasion to the marble. Height 11Ó $150-$250
