Description

"Chelsea Clock Co., Boston USA", on the movement; made for "Tiffany & Co. New York", on the dial. 16 1/2 inch shelf clock in a mahogany case with inlay designs on the front, both string and block inlay. 6 inch silver dial, raised brass numerals and a machined brass inner decoration. Brass bezel, beveled-convex glass, bowed glass, hence the picture with door open. Brass ring and door in back, cutout with cloth covering. 8 day balance wheel movement, rack and snail count, striking a large standing gong, and runs.
