Bristol, CT, ca 1847. One day, strike and alarm, steeple. Alarms on a brass bell, strikes hours on coil gong. Lyre movement is signed same as the label. Large trapezoid shaped alarm movement, full label, original old zinc dial, excellent old glass, period pendulum. 20 inch mahogany veneer case has one small veneer patch, back edge of base, and one finial tip broken, otherwise original.
