Description
"Hopkins & Alfred, Harwintom, Conn", fully carved, short drop case. Mint and wonderful wood dial with floral designs, old hands, complete label that is protected, old weights and pendulum. Original upper glass, replaced lower glass expertly puttied in the door. Ivory escutcheon with key and working lock. 30 hour wood movement, striking the hours. 32 inch mahogany veneer case is beautifully carved including the feet, splat, pineapple finials, and half columns. I can't find more than a one inch piece that has been replaced. A very rare clock in almost perfect condition.
