Description
"Brass Bushed Patent Eight Day Clocks, Made and sold at Plymouth, Connecticut by Seth Thomas". 8 day wood movement, Group 2, strikes a coil gong. Period iron weights, old bob, hands, very nice wood dial. 80% of label remains, brittle but salvageable. Missing the escutcheons and key but has 2 working door locks. 37 inch mahogany veneer case like the others in this fine collection, is extremely nice. I see no repair places. Tiger maple columns, the claw feet, and the carved fruit basket splat, set this clock apart from others. The case has been restored (a good cleaning) and the glass tablet replaced.
