Description

"Jerome, Thompson, & Co., Bristol, Connecticut", ca 1826. Reeded pilaster and scroll clock. 30 hour wood groaner movement, striking an iron bell on top of the case. Old wood dial with some stretch marks, great full label, period weights, pendulum, keys. All original including both glasses, dial, and finials. Original putty around all three glasses. The full door opens right to left. 37 inch mahogany veneer is near perfect, one ear repaired, can't tell from the front. Carved capitals.
