Description
2 weight time and strike movement, rack and snail strike, brass bell. I can't identify the maker, but you folks with the banjo books should be able to. The old case has had some light restoration and might be acceptable to most collectors as it is. The weights are new replacements, as is the bottom glass. The throat glass is original but is rebacked with masking tape which blends fairly well with the old paint. Original metal dial is unsigned and untouched. Heavy brass bezel, old side rails and pendulum. New wood installed as a weight chute divider and a cover over the weight chutes. An old clock that could be make a lot more valuable with minimal effort.
