Screw off back to get to winding and set key. How could you do that if it is in a car dash? 8 day, time only lever movement, heavy brass case, 4 inches on top, 4 1/2 inches on the base. Heavy beveled glass, 2 3/4 inch silver dial. It is almost identical to the Chelsea car clock, No.323, pictured in the 1911 Chelsea catalog. Made with a stem winding knob on the side, but not connected inside, instead winds and sets in back. I didn't get inside looking for names or numbers.
