Description

Also signed on the dial "Ball Watch Co, Cleveland". A "Marine" clock, time only, used extensively by the U.S. Navy. Hinged bezel, adapted to use with a lock and key; 6 inch silver dial, numerals etched and painted black. Polished brass case is 7 1/4 inches on top, and 7 3/4 inches on the base. Signed "Chelsea Clock Co", on the base. Some abuse on the silver dial. See "Chelsea Clocks-1911" a copy of their trade catalog, page 5.
