Description

Rosewood veneer case with rich ormolu accents. Engine turned capitals and bases fitted to the 4 turned and veneered columns. 4 turned wood feet. 8 day round movement, outside count wheel, bell strike, and running. Signed "Vincenti & Cie" and "M.J.386". Cast bezel with floral theme and a beautifully etched design in the dial center. There are great French hands. The dial is signed, "Robbin h rs a Paris". Matching pendulum with flower themes, filled with shot or rocks for weight and help in timing. 16 inch case with bright gilded accents and in very nice overall condition. Frieze at top and base match the dial ring and pendulum theme. Bottom frieze also with mythical birds. An exceptionally attractive clock.
