Description
Ripple around the base, top, and door. Mahogany case is 18 inches high, some professional repairs have been made, and it has chipping around the base. Original mirror, nice full label, repainted old zinc dial. Large 8 day, brass movement, strikes hours on a coil gong. Brass gong stand and bob. Clock is running. Reported to have sold thousands of clocks in England, some say for themselves, some say for Jerome. In an advertisement in 1848 they said they made 100,000 clocks per year and had a large export business to England.
