Description

Seth Thomas made this movement only 1 year, calling it "15 day, fine, pend. time, spring". No reason was given for discontinuing. I would think this clock was only made that year on an experimental basis. Nickel damascened bob, nickel screws everywhere, nickel dial holder and even trim around the inside of the door. Also nickel dial ring, dial trim, door hooks, 4 corner pieces, and hinges. There are glasses in the sides, a heavy hanger. 40 inch mahogany case is near perfect, very heavily constructed of the finest materials. Takes a huge No.12 key to wind. This is a keeper.
