Description
Rarely seen cherry case is 32 inches with original finish, beginning to wear on the bezel. 12 inch painted dial, good hardware, door locks, pendulum tie down, good old glasses. 8 day time only, 1 weight marked No.70. The movement is signed and original to this case, and marked "No.59". These are the same size as the No.70 movements and were often used in the No.70 cases. Similar clocks with No.59 movements have sold in Schmitt's auctions, such as No.497 in the Nov.2000 auction, sold for $3190. This clock is completely original. Ly-American No.427.
