Description

"Henry C. Smith, Plymouth, Conn", per label on the backboard. 30 hour brass movement, strikes a coil gong, running. Old wood dial has been restored as has the lower glass. Both old glasses puttied in place. Smith made wood and brass movement clocks in Plymouth, CT from 1833-1845. Case and label are very good. 26 inch mahogany veneer case. Veneer on the door and outer edge of the case and on the sides of the case, but none on the OG section around the door. Period weights and pendulum.
