Full label, Thomaston, CT 8 day, 2 weight movement, running. Strikes a coil gong, typical of the period. Top 2 glasses are original, bottom tablet a professional reverse painting. Old zinc dial original to the clock but with restorations, same as the columns. The top is a well made duplicate from a good pattern, stained and veneered to match the case. 32 inch rosewood veneer, a little problem around the base and doors, now repaired, otherwise a sound case.
