Description
German 2 weight Vienna regulator. Typical square brass movement is unsigned, carries serial number 3192, has one piece deadbeat anchor. Rod strike on half hour and hours, period bob, stick, weights, hands, and porcelain beat scale. Excellent 2 piece porcelain dial. Large 52 inch walnut case, unusual dentil molding around the top, carved and fluted half columns, carved base. Note the unusual wings on the bottom of the door. This clock did not begin life with this top, it is a later addition, but is most attractive, as are the cutouts around the door glass.
