Description
8 day movement strikes hours and half hours on a coil gong. Has no maintaining power, but has one piece dead beat anchor, post type mount. 2 piece porcelain dial has small hairlines, nice period bob, stick has had repairs, porcelain beat scale, wall levelers, 3 good glasses. The front glass probably replaced at some time, period weights. Top and finials were a good addition to this early clock as they match and have similar case lines. Great burl walnut on the back board, door, and base. A large case at 51 inches.
