Description

Bronze case was originally a bright gilt, now a dull finish, could use a buffing. Stands 15 1/2 inches high. Perfect beveled glass on 3 sides, back is metal, painted black with a round lid to access the movement. When I first saw this clock I thought it was missing a piece of glass. Signed 8 day nickel movement, strikes half hours on a standing gong, and running. 2 piece porcelain dial, fancy brass hands, French sash, matching pendulum, all very nice.4 round columns, removable turned finials. Should only need a buffing or cleaning. Ly-Ansonia No.279.
