Description

Heavy brass movement strikes1 time on half hours, and the number of hours on the hour, then repeats the hour strike, 5 minutes after the hour. The clock is complete with the metal side doors to keep the dust out, 2 old iron weights, old lyre pendulum. The clock sits on a metal hanging bracket. 9 1/2 inch porcelain dial is perfect, has painted flowers, and is signed "Vedel Carmausc". Stamped brass dial surround, with grapes, vines, grain, and urn on top, in good condition, but unpolished. It runs even with the brass cable not wound up straight. Verge escapement, iron bell on top, running. 55 inches high, top to the bottom of the pendulum.
