Description
Plays Westminster chimes on the quarters, on 4 rods, strikes the hours on a 5th rod. Large signed movement is clean, has enclosed spring barrels. A beautiful, clean, 17 inch mahogany case, full back door with a wire mesh cover. No. 18 stamped on the base, 1918 perhaps? 3 inch silver dial ring, etched numerals, soiled but not worn, should clean easily. Subsidiary dials are "S-F" and "Chime-Silent". Inner dial and dial plate of bronze, etched designs all over. This clock is near mint.
