Description

This is a miniature Venetian shelf clock with a variation of the Ingraham door, which is 2 circles held together with a brass strip. Atkins used a triangle decoration between the circles instead of the rosettes used by Ingraham. This miniature case is only 14 inches high, excellent mahogany veneer, false graining on the circles. 30 hour movement strikes hours on a coil gong. It has an alarm movement and an iron bell in the base. The lower glass and the dial are replacements. See reference in Ly-Ingraham No.150.
