Description
This is a large, heavy, bronze set, cast in many pieces, ornate figures and objects all over, from the angels on top to a head of a goddess and lion at the base, otherwise primarily leaves and vines. The bronze dial has cartouche numerals and cartouche signature plate reading, "Boer & Fils, a La Haye". Beveled glass. 8 day round, bell striking movement is running. This is a presentation clock. The based is engraved,"1857-1882, Zijne Dankbare, Gerneentenaren 7 December". Side pieces are 28inches high, clock 26 inches high.
