Description
8 day movement strikes a gong on the half hours, is clean and running. Signed,"Japy Freres", and "Made in France", and "J.E. Caldwell & Co. Philadelphia". The case is 16 1/2 inches, tan marble base and top, bronze in between and bronze feet. 4 beveled glasses are all perfect. Matching column caps and bases, trim around the top and base, 4 full fluted columns. Machined sunburst inner dial and dial ring, the porcelain ring with one fine hairline. Pendulum is convex and the sunburst style. A very heavy, extremely well made crystal regulator, and definitely a keeper.
