The Wm L Gilbert Co made the clock and is identical to those made by Gilbert with a Davis Clock Co label with addresses in Mississippi and Arkansas This clock with Southern Clock Co label shows no address It is 8 day, spring driven, and hourly strike 25" walnut veneer case, great half columns, original glasses, and full label The excellent dial could well be original because the rest of the clock is very nice The label is identical to the one pictured in Miller's" Calendar Clocks", page 144 It is shown in the Davis Clock Co section, page 139
