Description
Some good and not so good things to say about this clock. Beautiful porcelain dial with painted garland of flowers around the numbers. Polished gold bezel is bright; the gold on the body of the case is dull and dirty. 4 heavy beveled glasses, 2 with tiny corner chips. 2 vial, imitation mercury pendulum and a hanging gong still bright gold. The base is green onyx; top is a piece of onyx of another color. 8-day movement strikes gong on the half hours, and runs. Ly-Seth Thomas No.327.
