time, strike, repeat and alarm, and in good original condition. The only thing that keeps this from being excellent, is that most of the gilding has been rubbed off the intricate cast case. The multi piece castings depict blossoms, swags, a gargoyle at each corner, and a fancy claw foot at each corner as well. The porcelain dial is signed as in the headline, and is without flaw, offset by an engraved and gilded mask. The movement is of high quality and with the number 13859, and with a single coiled gong struck from above for the hours and from the underside for the alarm. The top and handle of the case are also cast in the same motif as the rest. Height 73/4"
