Description

This example has received good care all its life and all 4 turned ivory finials are still intact and never broken. The porcelain dial has attractive polychrome floral decoration, and retains original "Arrow" hands. This is one of the nicest one of these older models that we have seen in 25 years. Note operation is exactly like the new model described in previous lot; you raise the clock to the left side of the incline and gravity does the rest. For additional information on these clocks, refer to Derek Roberts' book: Mystery Novelty and Fantasy Clocks, (1999), chapter 5, "Clocks Driven by their own Weight". Dial 3 1/2"; width 21"
