Description

The movement is housed in a refinished cherry case with mahogany accents, that was probably made in Ohio or Pennsylvania. The movement is a Hoadley type made by Watson. The dial is beautiful with only a small chip on the bottom, and minor loss of black. The calendar hand is a replacement. The door glass is original, but has a small crack on the lower corner. The movement is in very good condition. Someone has added an extra click on the time side and the winding barrel has a small chip on the rim. The movement may not be original to this case as it sits a little high, but it still looks wonderful together. Height 94"
