Description
This clock is in excellent original condition; no effort has been made to clean the original gilding which has a mellow color. The silk thread movement strikes the hours and halves on a coiled wire gong, and a Tirolean wood cutter on the dial center swings his axe at the same time (one chop for each strike). The front frame has had its hinge renewed; otherwise an original piece. Height 20"
