Description
with an accompanying key; features a nicely detailed man and woman on each side of a pillar and urn, which houses the clock works. The man and woman are each holding a garland of delicate bisque flowers with a bouquet of flowers in the opposite hand. The back of the clock is signed "V CANTRELLE" and carries a Sevres type mark with a No.6 in the middle and an "A" below. The column is ornamented with gold ormolu and the base of the clock is trimmed with bisque, grapes, leaves and vines. The feet are ormolu with a scroll and leaf design. SIZE: 15" high by 12" wide. CONDITION: Very good to excellent state, the clock is in working state.
