Description
The jeweler's name is done in gold leaf on the bottom glass:Thorpe and Co. Jewellers, 509 4th St. The dial is also signed and is original to the clock. Measuring about 40 inches tall, this one is wide enough to house an 11 inch diameter dial and still leave room for the intricate carved patterns bordering the cas. It also has a porcelain pendulum indicator on the bottom of the case. A small chip is missing on the top glass and a small corner is missing on the left side.
