Description
Brass eight day movement that chimes on the quarter hour on four rods. It also strikes the hours after chiming on four other rods. Thus, it has 8 rods altogether. The movement is held in place by two special lock screws, so it is securely fastened. Carved case with double full columns decorating each side of the door. The top headpiece is also original, and has a nice balcony on it. The Arabic numeral silver dial has some tarnishing on it, but it is original. In excellent running condition.
