in the Louis XIV style, as-found, from storage. The case of this clock has many problems that are worth addressing. It has been dropped and the wood has broken in many places. It does appear that most everything is still there except for maybe a leaf or 2. The movement itself is a silk thread grand sonnerie with calendar (see 3rd hand on dial). Retains original delicate hands (with repairs), and the dial with a chip at left winding hole is in remarkable condition for its age. This is a project that will bring satisfaction to the right restorer. Height 29" (75cm)
