complete with weights, pendulum and wall bracket. This clock strikes on a large iron bell and repeats the hour strike 2 minutes later; anchor escapement. Commonly called a "prayer repeat", the two minutes after each hour were intended for silent prayer. There are some stress cracks in the brass of both the dial surround and the pendulum, but it is overall in very good condition, complete and running; the porcelain dial signed Mercier, a Luzy.
