Description
in outstanding original condition. This clock came from a local collector who bought it at an estate sale in Fitchburg, Mass. There is a repair label on the rear indicating it was cleaned on May 5, 1892 by an A. E. Rogers, 366 Main St., Fitchburg, Mass. The patina is great; no attempts have been made to polish the case. This model has glass on the sides, and with original gilt counter frames intact. The finials were a little loose, so we put them inside the case; one finial has a small chip out of the rim. There is one minor flake on the dial near 3. If there is a nicer Lucca, we have not seen it. 8-day, time, strike and alarm, recently cleaned and running. Note blue glass insert in pendulum. Height 24"
