Description

in rosewood in good restored condition. The case has been stripped and refinished and the dial repapered. The top trim molding is 14 mitered pieces, and two of those have been crudely replaced (only shows on close inspection); top center final is original; the 2 on the sides are copies and not exact. Balance of the clock is original and nice; retains old hands, flocked back, beat scale, gilded pendulum stick (with some wear to gilding). This is a very difficult model to find and certain to attract interest despite restorations. Ly's 1992 value was $4500. Height 41 inches
