Description

very clean. The minor shortcoming on this clock is that the movement and dial are turned slightly in the bezel, and it is out of beat. However the original gilding on the early arm is quite nice (note unusual one piece casting of the arm). The original bronzing on the spelter statue is excellent and the boy has exceptional detail, (all of his fingers and toes show clearly as well as the rings on the onions); these last items are very poor on the Chinese reproductions we see. The statue mounted on a turned wooden base; a very nice example; Height 15"
