Description

time, strike, repeat and alarm, with restorations. This is very likely the product of Jules, a trend setter in the Paris carriage clock market. Unfortunately the original Jules platform, all of which were unique, has been replaced by a modern Swiss one. Additionally, the clock was a presentation, and the base was ground down in front to accommodate a plaque, which has now been removed, and finally the base has been drilled on each side with a º" hole to accommodate a security cable. For reference see CARRIAGE CLOCKS by Allix Bonnert, page 74. Movement serial no. 149. Height 6"
