Description

Angle Riche case with Corinthian columns, silvered in lieu of gilt. The is a well made Pet. Sonnerie, that counts out only the quarters unless the repeat button is pressed, for which it reports the hour followed by the quarter (no quarter indicated on the hour). There is an alarm as well and the hands are finely tooled brass. The well engraved dial mask depicts vines, scrolls and flowers in fine detail. All beveled glass is good. The movement is numbered 7339 and retains original lever platform intact; with a lever in the base to select: Silence or Sonnerie The clock is ticking robustly. Height 6 "
