Description
in an interesting case with cast brass façade and door, the brass casting with the seal of "Mayer" and the number 9150. The porcelain dial is good; the hour hand with a solder repair; minute hand OK. Note one tooth of the escape wheel must be slightly bent, as the clock will run for 2 minutes, but always stops just as it goes out of beat. These tiny little movements have a total of 7 wheels to achieve a weeks duration out of a 5" pendulum. See also lot 397. Height 16"
