Description

The Hunter, as-found, dirty. This clock has no back foot, will stand as-is, but needs something added. The black marble base is in good condition with no signs of damage, and with original gold highlights. Much of the gilding is worn from the white metal case, and been touched up with gold paint. The porcelain dial is perfect and the hands are original, and the bell strike movement is running despite being dirty (must be cleaned). The pendulum rod is rusty. Neat statue of an 18th century archer, his dead prey (and sword) atop the clock. Height 13"
