Description
regulator in the Viennese style. This is a decent 2-weight, not yet a hundred years old, and still complete with original top (including old eagle), finials, weights and pendulum. This clock would have been made shortly after Becker merged with other makers in the Black Forest to cope with rising costs and declining demand. Note interesting pose of the eagle, with fine detail (and rt. wing tip broken away). With wooden handle crank. The cords are frayed and will need replacing soon. Height 53"
